National Geographic "Living with the Port"

The story of Living with the Port was made a relatively short period, as it usually takes a few years to realize a story for National Geographic. For half a year and something more, I enjoyed discovering various work tasks in the port of Koper, most notably when I met with seamen on tugs. It was necessary to make photographs even under less favorable weather conditions, from the air, from the pilot boat, from the container ship, and, last but not least, from the crane. I was very fortunate here that I managed to photograph the crow and his cunt's nest, which just opened the beak as I approached him. This photograph has reached an even semi-final selection in the prestigious Wildlife Photograph of the Year n.54

The story Living with a port was published in the National Geographic Slovenia magazine, in April 2016
