National Geographic "Salt Grasshopper"

Salt Grasshopper is a reportage, made exclusively for the needs of National Geographic. Stane Gomboc, a grasshopper expert, attracted me with information about the locust, the only one in the world who can swim and feed on salty plants. It swim in the nearby salt pools of the Sečovlje saltpans. The story is not very long, but important from the point of view of discovering new species and their adaptation to the environment. It was published in National Geographic magazine in March 2014.
